Setara Whole Grain Brown Basmati Rice
Setara Whole Grain Brown Basmati Rice is a natural and unpolished basmati rice. It retains some of the outer bran layer. As a result, the grains are light brown in colour and a little firmer than white basmati rice. When cooked, the grains remain long and separate while imparting a subtle nutty flavour that appeals to many. Brown basmati rice is often chosen by those who prefer whole grains in their meals. Since the bran layer is still present, it provides a bit more texture and a more wholesome feel than refined rice. The flavour is mild but slightly earthy, which works well with a wide range of dishes.
This rice can be used for everyday meals such as vegetable dishes, curries, stir-fries or rice bowls. Because it’s whole grain, it usually takes a little longer to cook than white basmati rice, but the result is a hearty and satisfying bowl of rice. Setara Whole Grain Brown Basmati Rice is a simple way to enjoy the classic basmati aroma while choosing a whole-grain option for your meals.
