Al Noor Achar Gosht Masala Mix is made for cooking achar gosht, a dish known for its bold, spicy and slightly tangy flavour. Instead of gathering many different spices from the kitchen, this blend brings everything together in one mix, making the cooking process much easier. The masala has a strong, aromatic smell once it hits the pan.
Spices like fennel, cumin, coriander and mustard seeds give the dish its deep flavour, while chilli, garlic and ginger add warmth and a bit of heat. The slight tang in the blend is what gives achar gosht its familiar pickle-style taste.

How to cook/use

How to Use
Heat oil in a pan and sauté sliced onions until they turn light golden.
Add ginger and garlic, then cook for a short time until fragrant.
Add pieces of mutton, lamb or chicken and cook until the meat begins to brown.
Stir in Al Noor Achar Gosht Masala Mix and mix well so the spices coat the meat evenly.
Add chopped tomatoes and a little water.
Cook until the meat becomes tender and the gravy thickens.
Finish with green chillies or fresh coriander if desired.
Serve hot with naan, roti or rice.
